This is a great smaller-scale alternative to a full sofa and has enough decorative presence to work as a statement piece on its own. The frame has the flowing curves associated with French Louis XV furniture, including a shaped back, rounded upholstered arms, a serpentine lower rail, and slender cabriole legs. Carved details appear throughout the exposed frame, including a small decorative flourish at the center of the lower apron. The warm aged-gold finish pairs naturally with the subtle champagne-toned damask-style upholstery. A single loose bench cushion keeps the seat visually clean and emphasizes the graceful shape of the frame.
