Seller's Notes:We bought this dining room table and chairs, which is solid cherry in a Queen Anne style, with a buffet server and end tables to go with our living room sofa and loveseat (all of which are available as well), when we married and bought our first house. The formal living and dining rooms were lovely, but rarely used. Over decades and a couple of moves, a few scratches and dings occurred, and eventually about half of the chairs became stained or discolored. The dings on the chairs are exactly where the backs bump up against the table, and the scratches are so light that they were almost impossible to photograph (btw, the photo looks more like a reflection of the chandelier, so look carefully to see the scratches). I think the chairs should be re-covered, but would be fine for most people. The table has a 24" leaf -- the picture and measurements are with the extension in place. Without it, 2 of the side chairs do not fit. Included are 2 arm chairs and 6 side chairs, and a thick padded 3 piece pad that we left on it most of the time, along with the table and leaf. We are downsizing, and really don't want formal furniture we don't use. At this price, with AptDeco's fee and paying for half of delivery, if it doesn't sell, Salvation Army is scheduled to take it for a charitable deduction.
