Seller's Notes:An unexpected combination of the worlds of design and luxury watchmaking, the Astrolab table features the mechanics of a clock to control the two motorized 40 cm extension leaves. The gears are deliberately visible for visual impact. This is an incredible piece for entertaining or for display. It's beautiful, impressive to watch in motion, easy to clean, and airy in feel (the glass doesn't feel like it takes over a room). Can sit six comfortably when unextended, and can seat 10 or 12 when extended. In excellent working condition, with some minor scratches on the glass top from use.
