Seller's Notes:Elegant polished cherry wood with a marble top, this is a rare example of McCobb's sophisticated, high-end line (Calvin line) for Directional, the company he founded. There are 4 small drawers along the top (with classic McCobb small pulls). Beneath, there are two articulated doors (one came off the hinge) and inside there are 6 drawers, flanked by slide-out shelves for sweaters, shirts or scarves. The dresser is sturdy and sound but in need of fixing the door and refinishing the base which has been scratched. The main part of the dresser needs a light restoration. This is a terrific opportunity to restore this beautiful, well-made dresser and resell with a price reflecting its true and rare value...$10,000 and up.
