Seller's Notes:Actor Lionel Barrymore was also a prolific artist who created many coastal and waterfront scenes. Although during his lifetime, Barrymore never received recognition for his sketches and paintings; after his death the public come to realize the charm of his imagery. This is an unframed print that was part of a number of prints I inherited from my father. I believe is is a litho from a woodcut that was part of a folio...but cannot verify that. The measurements given are the size of the plate indentation (image size plus a small border which includes the signature).
