Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge Replica
Product details
Seller's Notes:This LC4 Chaise Lounge replica, bought in 1995, has some wear & tear but is still great looking. It is comprised of brown/black/white leather cowhide lounge pad on a metal frame. "Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was a Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer, and one of the pioneers of what is now regarded as modern architecture. Le Corbusier believed that furniture should be “extensions of our limbs and adapted to human functions.” The original 1928 LC4 Chaise Lounge Chair embodies this with a “floating” frame that moves with the body. The original LC4 is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York." Additionally, 2 of the rubber feet are split but new replacement parts can be purchased for this piece on line.
