Seller's Notes:This is a unique kitchen island made from reclaimed wood. It has a rustic farm house feel about it and certainly will make an attractive feature in your kitchen. The top and bottom surfaces are made with long planks of light wood. They been finished with linseed oil to make them water tight and highlight the natural grain of the wood. These surfaces are edged in with a magnificent red wood, which has also been oiled to bring out its detailed grain. There are two large pockets at either end of the island, perfect for storing utensils or tools. Wheels can be added to the island on request. Similarly, on request, hooks can be fitted to the inside of the island e.g. for hanging pots or tea towels.
