Seller's Notes:This handsome French vase is cast from a popular pattern by Arc International (Arques, France) from one of their most famous brands, Cristal D’Arques-Durand. The Vincennes pattern was introduced in 1998-2000 but has since been discontinued. The pattern is exquisite, with arches, shooting stars, and fans; the many facets catch the light beautifully and its elegant form will enhance any bouquet of flowers, real or faux.Condition: The original "Cristal J.G. Durand France/Cristal au plomb + 24% Lead Crystal" sticker is still intact. Arc International was founded in 1825 by a Frenchman called Alexander des Lyons de Noircarme in 1825 in the village of Arques in northern France. From 1897 onward, the company was dominated by the Durand family, who eventually purchased the firm entirely in 1926. Today, the family continues to be the sole proprietors.
