Seller's Notes:I purchased this item upon moving into my apartment in November of 2014. The back panel is reinforced to hold a flat screen TV, although I placed my TV on the primary shelf. There are two open shelves just below that for any DVD players, extensions, routers, etc. The opening at the back also allows you to easily gather and organize all cords and wires. I placed decorative pieces along the top and used small fabric bins to fit within each of the shelves for additional storage. This is a great accent piece and is also very functional. It's strong and sturdy and shows very limited signs of wear.
