Seller's Notes:This bench likely dates from the first half of the 20th century, owned by a NYC artist. It's a beautifully preserved, hand-carved wood bench of rich color and character. It seats one or two, so it is both functional and decorative. The space underneath also allows for a good sized storage chest or ottoman. Has two minor repairs, is old and a bit creaky, but the effect is fantastic. I love it, but I've moved into a much smaller place and no longer have room for it!
