Ethan Allen Baumritter Wood Desk
Product details
Seller's Notes:**Final Day of Sale** - Lowest prices today only! Here's a very nice desk that is a blend of Mid Century Modern and Colonial styles that was part of the Roomates Collection by Baumritter. It has a wood grain laminate top and the rest is solid wood, probably walnut. There is damage to the wood grain laminate at the font/top of the desk, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. I have included a large price reduction due to this damage. *We are moving, so we have priced it low in order to sell it quickly.* What is Baumritter? In 1932, two New Yorkers, Theodore Baumritter and his brother-in-law Nathan Ancell, founded The Baumritter Corp, which was a house wares sales agency. In 1936, they bought a furniture factory located in Beecher Falls, Vermont. Ancell and Baumritter quickly fell in love with Vermont. They decided to name their furniture company Ethan Allen after the Vermont revolutionary leader. In 1939, their furniture line made their grand debut inside stores.
