Seller's Notes:This piece was part of a suite of master bedroom furniture my father, a master woodworker, purchased for my mother in 1996 when he realized he wasn't going to get around to building the suite of master bedroom furniture he had designed in 1965. My mother fell in love with the set while they were vacationing in North Carolina and touring various furniture factories, that is, back when furniture was still made in North Carolina. The piece is like new, flawless, really, and is quality fabrication or I'm sure my father wouldn't have agreed to buy it. Other than pulling it away from the wall to photograph it for sale it has not been moved around since it was delivered to the house, a non-smoking, non-pet household. Also, the piece has never been exposed to direct sunlight so the finish is not faded in any respect.
