Seller's Notes:Set of 4 Design Within Reach Onda Counter Stools, designed by Jesus Gasca for Stua in 2006. This color combination of black seat and stainless legs was only available for a limited time The seat shell is soft molded plastic with black polypropylene finish and the seat surface is a black soft rubber skin. Legs are matte stainless steel. The seats swivel 360-degrees. These stools are 7 years old, lightly used in excellent condition. They have a very small footprint and tuck neatly under a counter overhang so they work well in either small or large spaces. For their size, they're very comfortable, offering some lumbar support (though the back is very low) and a perfectly placed footrest. The swivel action is smooth on all- overall, you can really tell this is high-quality design and craftsmanship. Wear: The seat and shell show typical signs of age but no highly visible defects. One has a small scuff on the shell- I've included a picture, it's not noticeable unless you're hunting for it. The seat material is soft rubber with a texture that in certain light gives an irregular appearance, it's intended to look like a "natural" material, has a texture similar to leather. It's not well captured in photos which make the variations seem higher contrast than in reality, but you can see in the photos that the seats do not have a smooth, perfectly consistent texture. Color: Even though the shell and seat are called "black", they're not what I'd call "true black". They're closer to a very dark, warm gray. I've included a photo that shows the seat with a black remote control on it so you can see the color when compared with "true black" plastic.
