Seller's Notes:Please note that this is a replica that adheres to the original design. MCM design at its best. This LC4 sublime chaise adjusts depending on whether you want to recline fully or sit up. It is both strikingly elegant and unbelievably comfortable. The cowhide of this LC4 has some minor creasing - hence why I am selling it at this price but can be easily rectified. I’m sad to part with it but need to free up some space. Le Corbusier held that furniture should be “extensions of our limbs and adapted to human functions.” The LC4 Chaise Longue (1928) embodies this notion with a “floating” frame that moves with the body. The LC4 is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
