A primitive local craft that dates back to pre-Incan times and gets its name from the specific town where it's always been made. Towering Talara shines modern a dual-finish cylinder brushed with glam gold leaf. The pottery follows an elaborate process and is tended to by several artisans. Some pound the clay to the correct consistency. Others hand-turn it on a wheel creating the vessel. Kiln specialists fire, then fire again utilizing burnt mango leaves to give the piece its signature blackened finish and unique texture. It's ancient artistry for the modern home. New.
