Chapter One: with its adventurous tonal blend of leather and wood, and Mid-Century Modern silhouette, the Wordsmith leather recliner is ideal for long hours of writing, reading or just relaxing. The tall back creates a perfect restful pitch for your back and head. But the plot really thickens with the arms. Gently contoured elbow cradles are sculpted into the wood right where your elbows rest, creating almost seamless contact—more comfortable than many padded arms we’ve been told! The leather, Libby Fudge, adds even more gravitas. Through the tanning process, the leather achieves a worn, broken in look, just like those classic novels you’ve read over and over. And the exposed stitching adds another layer of charm and character. True, Hemingway wrote standing up; Jack Kerouac on the roadside; Anne Bronte by candlelight; and D.H. Lawrence under a tree. If you prefer something less radical, but radically more comfortable, recline on our Wordsmith—and be one with a masterpiece.
