Seller's Notes:This empire daybed is was purchased for $4000 in 1997. It was our daughters bed for 6 years-she was 3-9 years old when it was used. It has had minimal use but as an antique is clearly in need of a lot of repair. The headboards need to be reset and reglued. The wood has fading from sun. I think it is beach wood and i think it is from decades ago...like early 19th century but cannot swear by that. I have no documentation. Was purchased in San Francisco. It really just needs to be repaired back to its original glory. It has carved detail and is meant to be up against a wall as one side decorative and other not...a typical daybed.
