Product details
Seller's Notes:This antique hand-hammered copper ladle is a remarkable piece of early kitchenware, featuring a long wrought iron handle with a loop for hanging. Whether used for fireplace cooking, cauldron stirring, or hearthside stews, this ladle carries the unmistakable signs of time, craftsmanship, and utility. The piece measures 24" in total length, with the copper scoop measuring approximately 7 1/2" long by 6" wide and 3 1/2" deep. The bowl has beautiful hand-hammered texture, along with natural creases and dents from a lifetime of use. The iron handle shows surface rust and wear, all consistent with its age and use, adding even more to its rustic and primitive charm. A striking example of early American utilitarian design, perfect as primitive farmhouse decor, a fireplace accent, or a statement piece in a country kitchen or colonial-inspired home.
